Qmini Expanded Beam Connector
Qmini Expanded Beam Connector
The QPC Qmini Expanded Beam Fiber Optic Connector has been designed to the requirements of MIL-PRF-83526.
The hermaphroditic design allows assemblies to be daisy chained together without adapters, allowing for flexibility in system design.
The expanded beam connector uses a spherical lens to collimate the signal at many times the original diameter. This technology makes the connector very resistant to shock and environmental issues, minimising the effects of dust, debris and mechanical vibration. Because the fibre system is non-contact, the connector life is in excess of 3,000 mating cycles, providing a high quality, rugged environment solution.

QBeam Expanded Beam Connector
QBeam Expanded Beam Connector
The QPC Qbeam 4 Channel Expanded Beam Fiber Optic Connector has been designed to the latest MIL requirements. The expanded beam connectors use a drum lens to collimate the signal at many times the original diameter.
This technology makes the connector very resistant to shock, vibration, and environmental issues.
Because the system is non-contact, the connector life is in excess of 5,000 cycles. The protective window is easy to clean and makes the connector ideal for field use in extreme conditions.
The hermaphroditic design allows multiple cables to be directly connected without adapters (i.e. daisy chained). This connector minimises the logistical problems of handling changing requirements within those various applications.
E-Link Pin & Socket Connector
E-Link Pin & Socket Connector
The QPC E-Link Line features rugged, multi-channel pin & socket, hermaphroditic and hybrid connectors. Available in QPC’s signature blue, classic black and custom finish options as well as stainless steel construction.
The E-Link Connectors use field proven design concepts from the MIL-C-38999 and MIL-PRF-83526 series connectors, making them perfect for dynamic, harsh environments. The rugged, environmentally sealed design and anodised aluminium body makes the E-Link ideal for use in demanding applications.
The durable E-Link 2 – 8 Channel Pin & Socket Connectors are designed to withstand cable pull or twist, crush or impact and water immersion. The connectors are completely sealed against environmental conditions. The unique hard anodised back shells assure that termini are isolated from dynamic stress.
QPC uses high-performance 2.5mm termini and split ceramic alignment sleeves to assure superior performance even under high shock and vibration.
12/24 Fiber Splice Tray
12/24 Fiber Splice Tray
The QPC 12/24 fibre splice tray design allows for safe storage of up to 24 splices in a 4x9x0.5 inch package size.
The splice organiser is an integrated part of the body, not a ‘stick on’ accessory. The angular position of the splices prevents tight radius bends on the fibres, while the open design allows the maximum flexibility in installation.
A clear polycarbonate cover secured by detents on the splice tray allows quick and easy inspection. Cable buffer tubes are secured to the tray using zip ties. The trays are stackable and can be mounted using two #6 screws, or with straps or Velcro as the application demands.
Node Module
Node Module
The Node Modules come pre-configured with passive optical devices (WDMS, CWDMS, Splitters) selected to meet the user’s specifications. QPC Node Modules are designed for Harmonic Nodes* and are durable, pre-loaded modules.
Fully assembled and tested at our facilities, QPC Node Modules allow the optical devices to be installed in the user’s node in only moments. The user simply connects the appropriate fibres to the pre-terminated module and drops the module into the existing housing on the node. The end result is an extremely clean, neat and trouble free installation.
QPC Node Modules represent just one success story in their ability to work with customers on well-engineered solutions to their existing challenges.

BRUtough Tactical Field Fiber Optic Cable
BRUtough Tactical Field Fiber Optic Cable
The BRUtough Tactical Fiber Optic Cable is ideal for use in the myriad of harsh environmental situations encountered during military, mining, petrochemical, and industrial operations. This non-metallic cable’s compact size and reduced weight make it easy to transport and deploy. Yet BRUtough is strong enough to survive outdoors lain directly on the ground and endure severe conditions while being retrieved and reused repeatedly. BRUtough cables have been tested and are in use in military communication applications worldwide. They are most commonly employed with ruggedized multi-way military tactical field connectors allowing for maximised connector retention capability (up to 400 lbs).
BRUtough achieves these impressive results through its helically stranded cable core, delivering flexibility, deployment survivability and exceptional mechanical protection for the optical fibres. A thick layer of aramid strength members provides crush-resistance and resiliency. It also comes standard with a tactical polyurethane (C) outer jacket for abrasion, cut, and chemical resistance. Alternatively, flame retardant (E), flame retardant tactical (V), or low smoke zero halogens (G) outer jacket materials can be substituted.
