Optical Fibre Patch Panels and Subracks

Warren and Brown Fibre Patch panels and subracks are the benchmark product in the telecoms industry. A total solution offering including custom made panels allows for high density and reliable optical connectivity. 1RU, 2RU and even 3RU variations are available which can terminate a large number of fibres. Splice and Patch, patch only and splice only options are available in either a swing out or slide tray design. Typically, all splice/patch subracks are supplied with all pigtails and thru connectors all pre-installed and tested as well as all mounting hardware and ancillary equipment.

These 1RU, LH / RH pivot open Splice & Patch, Patch only or Splice only sub-racks (patch panels) accommodate various numbers of optical fibres. They feature optical fibre cord management that maintains the MBR at 30 mm radius throughout. These sub-racks (patch panels) mount in a 19″ / 21″ rack with either front, mid or rear brackets. Can be installed into any ODF or Equipment Rack.

OPTICAL FIBRE SPLICE AND PATCH PANELS, 3RU, SWING OUT

These 3RU, LH/RH pivot open Splice & Patch or Patch only sub-racks (patch panels) accommodate various numbers of optical fibres (up to 144 LC fibres). They feature optical fibre cord management that maintains the MBR at 30 mm radius throughout. These sub-racks (patch panels) mount in a 19 inch or 21″ rack with either mid or rear brackets. Loose tubes housed in protection tubes are fed around the rear of the body, through hook and loop ties under a guiding / protection plate, to pass aroud the guiding cylinder to the splice trays. The protection / loose tubes are secured in two places to the entry cylinder to generate a large, smooth, entry curve to the splice trays. Along the front face of the swing out sub-rack, tie-off slots are provided for optical fibre cords. At the front of the swing out sub-rack is a label showing the layout. The swing out sub-rack has a non-continuous front edge, that allows for connector testing using probe type instruments. Can be installed into any ODF or Equipment Rack.

They feature optical fibre cord management that maintains the MBR at 30 mm radius throughout. These sub-racks (patch panels) mount in a 19 inch or 21″ rack with either mid or rear brackets. These sliding drawer modules are used to house both splicing and patching facilities in an optical fibre termination rack. It may be front, mid or rear mounted in a 19″ or 21″ rack. Provided is a flat patch panel at the front face, for a variety of options including SC, SC Duplex, LC, LC Duplex, LC Quad, etc. connectors. Also supplied is the splice trays with heat shrink splice protector holder clips. Heat shrink type splice protectors, are available separately. The units have a universal rear entry for the external cable, which allows entry from either side. They are also provided with a gland for cable location.
