Qmini Expanded Beam Connector

The QPC Qmini Expanded Beam Fiber Optic Connector has been designed to the requirements of MIL-PRF-83526.

The hermaphroditic design allows assemblies to be daisy chained together without adapters, allowing for flexibility in system design.

The expanded beam connector uses a spherical lens to collimate the signal at many times the original diameter. This technology makes the connector very resistant to shock and environmental issues, minimising the effects of dust, debris and mechanical vibration. Because the fibre system is non-contact, the connector life is in excess of 3,000 mating cycles, providing a high quality, rugged environment solution.

Qmicro Expanded Beam Connector

The QPC Qmicro Expanded Beam Fiber Optic Connector features all the benefits of QPC’s existing expanded beam connectors, in the most compact and lightweight housing.

The Qseal 2 and 4 Channel Connector is intermateable with Neutrik’s opticalCON* DUO and QUAD connectors. With its metal LC Style insert and IP67 rating, the Qseal is a more rugged alternative.

Key features include a shop and field installable system, to allow for customer and end user builds, maintain and troubleshoot their own assemblies. The shutter free design allows for easy inspection and cleaning.

Qmini 90° Quick Connect Expanded Beam Connector

The QPC Qmini 90° Quick Connect Expanded Beam Connector has been designed to the requirements of MIL-PRF-83526, with a speciality 90° body and back shell designed specifically for use in harsh environments with tight spaces experiencing difficult cable management.

QFOCA Enhanced Hermaphroditic Tactical Connector

The QFOCA Enhanced Hermaphroditic Tactical Connector is the second generation of the TFOCA* connector and is based on the MIL-C-83526/16 specification. QPC’s connector design enhances the optical, mechanical, environmental and functional performance to meet today’s demanding system requirements.

New features include an optical interface with four standard 2.5mm ferrules. The front insert can be easily removed for field maintenance and cleaning. The ruggedized hermaphroditic design makes this connector ideal for field-deployable systems for Singlemode or Multimode applications.

Qplex 2 – 16 Channel Expanded Beam Connector

The QPC Qplex Expanded Beam Fiber Optic Connector is a modular (2-16 Channel) connector featuring all the benefits of QPC’s existing expanded beam connectors, in the most compact and rugged housing.

This technology makes the connector very resistant to shock and environmental issues, minimising the effects of dust, debris and mechanical vibration. QBeam Expanded Beam Connector

The QPC Qbeam 4 Channel Expanded Beam Fiber Optic Connector has been designed to the latest MIL requirements. The expanded beam connectors use a drum lens to collimate the signal at many times the original diameter.

This technology makes the connector very resistant to shock, vibration, and environmental issues.

Because the system is non-contact, the connector life is in excess of 5,000 cycles. The protective window is easy to clean and makes the connector ideal for field use in extreme conditions.

The hermaphroditic design allows multiple cables to be directly connected without adapters (i.e. daisy chained). This connector minimises the logistical problems of handling changing requirements within those various applications.

E-Link Pin & Socket Connector

The QPC E-Link Line features rugged, multi-channel pin & socket, hermaphroditic and hybrid connectors. Available in QPC’s signature blue, classic black and custom finish options as well as stainless steel construction.

The E-Link Connectors use field proven design concepts from the MIL-C-38999 and MIL-PRF-83526 series connectors, making them perfect for dynamic, harsh environments. The rugged, environmentally sealed design and anodised aluminium body makes the E-Link ideal for use in demanding applications.

The durable E-Link 2 – 8 Channel Pin & Socket Connectors are designed to withstand cable pull or twist, crush or impact and water immersion. The connectors are completely sealed against environmental conditions. The unique hard anodised back shells assure that termini are isolated from dynamic stress.

QPC uses high-performance 2.5mm termini and split ceramic alignment sleeves to assure superior performance even under high shock and vibration.

QLite Sealed LC Connector

QPC’s QLite Sealed LC Connector is designed to exceed the requirements of ODVA, the connectors meet IP68 environmental sealing ratings and are the ideal choice for a low cost and easy to use solution in Industrial, Fibre to the Antenna (FTTa), or any other harsh environmental applications.

The QLite Connector is designed with a simple bayonet locking system, according to the IEC 61076-3-106 interface standard, which allows mating to similar locking systems.

The QLite Connector yields exceptionally low insertion loss for Singlemode applications and provides connector colour coding options in Multimode applications for differentiation of OM3 or OM4 constructions.

High Density Connector

The QPC High-Density connector system utilises industry standard 1.25mm ferrules in a unique termini body to give unparalleled contact density in a harsh environment connector.

The vibration proof 38999-III style connector body is made of nickel plated aluminium for a long, trouble free service life. A fast, triple lead thread allows the system to be mated quickly. The connectors are available in a variety of keying options to prevent erroneous connections in complex systems.

The termini retention mechanism is taken from the 28876 style ‘Shipboard’ connector, the current industry standard in a harsh environment.

Vitalis 900 Expanded Beam Connector

The unique QPC Vitalis 900 Hermaphroditic Hybrid Expanded Beam Connector system combines the reliability of the expanded beam fibre optic connection with high-performance electrical contacts in a single hermaphroditic connector system.

The Expanded Beam connector uses a spherical lens at the fibre end to spread the signal up to 900 times the fibre core diameter. The result is unparalleled resistance to debris, shock, and vibration. The lack of physical contact between the fibres ensures long life and high durability of the system.

QPC combines this with advanced electrical contacts. Connectors can be configured up to 15 amps, pin and socket, 1000 Volt (Max 3000 Volt short term), depending on the end use requirements. The durability of the connector is in excess of 2,000 cycles.

The connector system is hermaphroditic; plugs will mate with other plugs or with receptacles. The entire assembly is completely sealed. The large ergonomic grip makes repeated mating cycles easy and reliable.
